During the discussion, all favored the proposal; in the voting that followed, there was not a single dissenting vote. This report, which is a summary of the findings of one of these committees, is concerned with four major questions: (1) What is the proper role of the public in developing an educational plan for Prince Edward County? (2) What kind of public school system can the County afford to support on the basis of its financial resources? (3) What kind of system was supported for 1964-65?
